The first village of the Amalfi Coast you meet after Vietri is Cetara, probably the most typical among the villages of the coast.
It is mainly popular for fishing and processing of anchovies and tuna. In Cetara there are also famous restaurants, where you can taste local dishes such as the famous “colatura di alici”.
The village is spread downhill towards the sea, among small streets and the typical houses of the fishing villages.
At the end of the village there is a beautiful beach, where local people love to spend the warm spring weekend.
Near the beach, by one side there is a little old port and on the other side an old Tower, creating a unique and awesome setting.
